Restaurant Administrator

Full Time

A fast-paced and varied catering administration role for a confident, customer-facing individual with excellent communication skills. The role provides a central point of contact for our restaurants and their staff, the field-based restaurant team, suppliers and other Head Office departments.

Key accountabilities:

  • Answering centre queries and dealing with customer/staff issues by telephone and via email
  • Supporting restaurant communications such as best practice emails and weekly bulletins
  • Analysing restaurant operations and reports, providing feedback to the Head of Restaurants
  • Providing administrative support to the field-based restaurant team, assisting with messages, communications, documentation and accommodation bookings
  • Completing ad-hoc project work and providing information/statistics to the Head of Restaurants within tight timescales
  • Supporting the Training department with alcohol-licensing and marketing administration on an ad-hoc basis (including the applications, paperwork and examinations)
  • Liaising with suppliers via email and telephone to resolve issues and back orders.

  • Strong IT skills: Excel, Outlook
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Diplomatic and assertive when dealing with difficult customer service situations
  • Methodical and organised working style
  • Positive team player with the ability to work autonomously
