Restaurant Administrator
Full Time
A fast-paced and varied catering administration role for a confident, customer-facing individual with excellent communication skills. The role provides a central point of contact for our restaurants and their staff, the field-based restaurant team, suppliers and other Head Office departments.
Key accountabilities:
- Answering centre queries and dealing with customer/staff issues by telephone and via email
- Supporting restaurant communications such as best practice emails and weekly bulletins
- Analysing restaurant operations and reports, providing feedback to the Head of Restaurants
- Providing administrative support to the field-based restaurant team, assisting with messages, communications, documentation and accommodation bookings
- Completing ad-hoc project work and providing information/statistics to the Head of Restaurants within tight timescales
- Supporting the Training department with alcohol-licensing and marketing administration on an ad-hoc basis (including the applications, paperwork and examinations)
- Liaising with suppliers via email and telephone to resolve issues and back orders.
Key skills:
- Strong IT skills: Excel, Outlook
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Diplomatic and assertive when dealing with difficult customer service situations
- Methodical and organised working style
- Positive team player with the ability to work autonomously
