Planning and planting talk and fish and chip supper

Thursday 15th March from 4.30pm to 6.30pm

  • Visitors will be able to enjoy a fish and chip supper from 4.30pm before attending a free talk in our conference room on planning and planting for 2012 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
  • Our Plant Experts, Phil Munn and Graham Philpot will be advising customers on how to have a constant succession of fruit, vegetables and flowers throughout the coming year.
  • Our Four Seasons Restaurant will be serving a delicious fish and chip supper before the presentation.
  • People wishing to attend the fish and chip supper are advised to book in advance. Tickets for the meal cost £7.45 per person and are available by calling 01869 242 248.


How to Grow Your Own vegetables talk and lamb hotpot supper

Thursday 29th March from 4.30pm to 6.30pm

  • Visitors will be able to enjoy a lamb hotpot supper from 4.30pm before attending a free talk in our conference room on how to Grow Your Own vegetables from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
  • Our Plant Experts, Phil Munn and Graham Philpot will be advising customers on how to easily grow all types of vegetables in pots, raised beds and allotments. They will be demonstrating how to raise them from seed or how to grow them from plug plants or bedding vegetable packs.
  • Our Four Seasons Restaurant will be serving a delicious lamb hotpot supper before the presentation.

Summer dance classes for babies and toddlers

Every Monday morning during term time from Monday 9th May onwards

  • The Music and Dance (MAD) Academy will be hosting summer classes for babies and toddlers.
  • The sessions are for pre-school children aged from three months to four-years-old and are bursting with energy and fun. 
  • The classes include a variety of activities and games to develop and improve children’s musicality, listening skills, physical awareness, co-ordination and intellectual reasoning.
  • MAD Academy combines lively music and dance with carefully structured learning designed for the specific age and developmental stage of the children.
  • Each Monday the classes will be split into three sessions. From 9.45am until 10.30am the class will be open to babies who are able to walk to two-year-olds. This will focus on music, movement and motor development.
  • From 10.45am until 11.20am there will be a session for babies and crawlers. This class will centre on actions, signing and sensory simulation.
  • From 11.30am until 12.15pm there will be a session for children aged two to four-years-old. The class includes dance, musicality and beat competency.
  • The sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. The price of the classes start from £5.50 per child.
