The centre started life more than twenty years ago as part of Heathlands Farm, a large growing operation supplying fruit to the supermarket trade. Our staff have always been our pride and joy and in fact two have been with the centre almost since the beginning. The original centre included an extremely popular farm shop, where regular food tastings brought in customers from far and wide to sample seasonal produce that ranged from apples to potatoes!
We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, floristry, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our coffee shop sells delicious home-made snacks and lunches whilst customer service is our forte. Friendly and helpful, our staff are horticultural experts who like nothing better than dispensing good practical advice to expert and amateur gardeners alike.
