The centre lies within Crockford Bridge Farm, on land recorded in the Doomsday Book. The farmhouse itself dates back to the 1200s, when it was used as a hunting lodge by the royal Windsor Estate. Opened in 2001 by Kim Wilde, the centre is complemented by the farm's Pick Your Own business offering 25 different crops and a superb Farm Shop selling fresh and unusual produce. For ice cream fans, come the summer the Italian Ice Cream Parlour stocks handmade ice creams and sorbets in 24 irresistible flavours...
We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, floristry, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our restaurant sells delicious home-made snacks and lunches whilst our staff are friendly and helpful horticultural experts who like nothing more than giving good practical advice to expert and amateur gardeners alike.
We all look forward to welcoming you to the centre soon.
