Join Jo Jingles at the garden centre

Every Wednesday morning during term time from 9.45am to 12noon

  • We will be hosting Jo Jingles Music and Movement classes.
  • Established in 1991, Jo Jingles classes provide interactive music, singing and movement with an educational slant for children aged from three months to five-years-old.
  • All sessions are run by highly trained and experienced teachers with a little help from a Jo Jingles doll.
  • Jo is extremely friendly and actively participates in the classes. He loves to stimulate young minds and teach children to play percussion instruments, sing songs and make new friends.
  • There will be three sessions throughout the day. They will take place from 9.45am to 10.30am for children aged two to five years, from 10.30am to 11.15am for children who are walking to two years and from 11.15am to 12noon for babies aged between three months and one year.
  • We are offering customers an introductory price of £10 for any three classes between Wednesday 18th January and Wednesday 28th March. Classes cost £5.00 if booked individually.
  • There is also a £2.50 insurance charge per child, which covers a child for the January to Easter term, up until Wednesday 28th March 2011.

Craft and Coffee Club

Every first and third Sunday of the month

  • Crafters who enjoy being creative are invited to a Craft and Coffee Club at the garden centre.
  • The Club is a great way for people to try something new and to meet other people. They are ideal for anyone who enjoys creative projects.
  • The informal mornings are very sociable affairs and are fun for all, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crafter.
  • The sessions are a great opportunity to develop a new skill or swap ideas or hints and tips with others. There is always something to learn from the other crafters in the group and this often sparks creativity in others, people leave with fresh ideas and new techniques to try.
  • The Craft and Coffee Club will take place on the first and third Sunday of every month from 9.30am.
  • Tickets cost £3 per person and include tea or coffee. People will also get 10% off full price products in our Craft Department on the day of the workshop. They can be reserved at the Customer Services desk.
  • Customers will need to provide their own basic equipment and can join in with the craft activities on offer or just bring a project they may be working on at that moment in time.
