Chamaerops humilis (dwarf fan palm) Often stemless or multi-stemmed, it forms a dense rounded clump of large fan-shaped greyish-green leaves; an attractive, exotic and unusual addition to any location.
Medium-sized frost hardy evergreen shrub. Thrives in well-drained moderately fertile soil in a sunny sheltered position but will tolerate poor dry soils. In cold areas grow in a container and overwinter in a cool conservatory or greenhouse.
