Acacia dealbata 'Gaulois Astier' is a compact form of mimosa bearing dainty and very attractive ferny leaves. A profusion of fluffy yellow scented flowers is borne in late winter and early spring from a young age. Excellent in a container.
Large semi-hardy evergreen shrub or tree (can grow very large in warm climes). Plant in any reasonable well-drained soil in a sunny sheltered position. If in a container, overwinter somewhere frost free. Prune after flowering by up to two thirds to keep compact.
