Cistus x purpureus (rock or sun rose) is a bushy and rounded shrub with greyish-green foliage and profuse reddish-purple flowers with dark maroon basal blotches borne in June and July.
Dwarf frost hardy evergreen shrub. Plant in any well-drained soil in a sunny position sheltered from cold winds.
