Japanese Cherry - 12 litres
Prunus 'Kanzan' is one of the most popular of all the Japanese cherries, putting on a fabulous display of rich purplish-pink double flowers in late April-May. The young leaves unfold coppery-red, turning deep green in summer then brilliant orange-red in autumn. Makes a splendid specimen tree for a lawn or boundary, though needs plenty of space. Grows around 10m by 10m
Thrives in moist but well-drained soil, in a sunny position.
