Cheal's Weeping Cherry - 12 litres
Prunus 'Kiku-shidare-zakura' is the classic, familiar double pink weeping cherry, reliable smothered with bright, fully double rose- pink flowers in April-May. As the blossom fades, the young leaves emerge a glossy bronze turning dark green, often colouring richly in autumn. The slowish growth and small size make this the perfect focal weeping tree for a small garden. Height and spread 2 - 3m.
Thrives in moist but well-drained soil, including clay soils, in sun. Pruning: minimal pruning is required. Remove damaged and badly placed stems after flowering.
