GYO plots available to rent

• The new Grow Your Own (GYO) plots on Newport Road in Castleton are now available to gardeners wishing to grow their own food.
• Blooms Cardiff Garden Centre is overseeing the running of the plots at Castleton. There are 103 GYO plots and they are located approximately one mile away from the garden centre.
• Each plot is approximately 90 square metres. A basic plot, which costs £5 per week, includes a composter and access to a water trough.
• There will be a number of plots available that include a greenhouse and a shed, as well as a water butt to help with water capture and conservation, for £10 per week.
• People interested in taking one of the plots can contact Blooms Cardiff Garden Centre on 02920 777 977 or pick up an application form at one of the tills.
