Located on the A1073 six miles from Peterborough, Crowland Garden Centre opened in October 2001 on the site of Europe’s largest caravan sales park. Near the country’s most important Benedictine Abbey, the centre lies in attractively landscaped grounds, with several small lakes, an immaculate plantarea offering a wide range of top quality plants, shrubs and trees and even a miniature railway!

The staff at Crowland take great pride in both their knowledge of gardening and the friendly service they provide. Loyalty and helpfulness are key to the centre’s ethos and in fact ten members of staff have been with the centre since it opened nearly ten years ago! Involvement in the local community is a priority and the centre is well known for its in-store events, from Scalextric tournaments to fashion shows.

Whilst plants and gardening products lie at the heart of the business, the centre also stocks garden furniture, a great range of giftware and is home to several concessions including the Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Pavers Shoes and Maidenhead Aquatics. Christmas is a highlight and the popular restaurant caters for all ages, offering delicious lunches and snacks in both indoor and outdoor seating areas overlooking the lakes and railway.
