DID YOU KNOW?

The centre started life as Langmeads Nursery, taking advantage of the wonderfully fertile soil in the area and growing vegetables for passing customers. The soil sterilisation steam engine at the front of the centre harks back to those bygone days and in fact we still source as much as possible from local producers. Our flowering houseplants and pack bedding are all grown in West Sussex, as is much of our other stock - although we haven't yet explored selling the local wine!

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, floristry, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our cafe restaurant sells delicious home-made snacks and lunches whilst our staff are friendly and helpful horticultural experts who like nothing better than dispensing good practical advice to expert and amateur gardeners alike.
