Our Plants of the Month for May
As we move into May, we look forward to seeing the end of the April showers that have helped to keep the garden looking lush with the fresh new growth. The warmer conditions will bring on an abundance of colour and aroma from even the smallest of gardens.
Rambling over fences and pegolas, the large buds of the clematis start to open, showing off some of the most fantastic vibrant colours and providing a beautiful backdrop to rhododendrons, lilacs and spiraea.
The garden can be filled with scent as French lavenders and lilacs start to flower, to be followed by the beautiful rose perfumes next month.
